As the Customer Support Chemist, you are an individual contributor within a laboratory environment and will report to the Customer Manager - Automotive Parts and Accessories and will support the APA Decorative market segment through the development and formulation of new coatings that reflect quality and meet customer requirements. You will interact with plant production personnel, marketing, and QA personnel to assist with problem resolution as it pertains to formulation issues. Able to effectively listen and communicate within the work team, providing clear and concise documentation of technical results, and able to orally present work.

Requirements:
BA/BS in Chemistry, BioChemistry, Chemical Engineering or related
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated and willingness to actively research and investigate solutions for customer needs.
Ability to independently manage projects as well as contribute actively within a team environment.
