Medica's Regulatory Adherence Analyst is responsible for overseeing contractual and regulatory obligations necessary to service Medica's Minnesota and Wisconsin Medicaid products. The position focuses on overall maintenance of the Medicaid regulatory reporting/tracking and materials submission. It has an essential role in the oversight of contractual and regulatory requirements necessary to service Medica's contracts with the Department of Human Services.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Communicating requirements and reporting accountabilities with affected areas within Medica
  • Thorough documentation of implementation and Medicaid contract adherence activities in accordance with the standards of the Medicaid Regulatory Adherence department
  • Coordinate with internal and vendor partners to ensure regulatory required reports are completed timely and submitted to Minnesota and Wisconsin DHS per contract requirements
  • Completes assigned DHS and CMS filings as well as serving as a contact with Minnesota and Wisconsin DHS

This position represents the Medicaid segment on internal operational committees and represents Medica at meetings with the Department of Human Services as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field
  • 3 years of work experience beyond degree

Additional Experience, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience working in healthcare or health insurance industry
  • Knowledge of government products in Minnesota and/or Wisconsin
  • Previous work with Department of Human Services
  • Ability to interpret/translate regulatory contracts
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong business relationships at multiple levels of an organization
  • Strong organizational skills with understanding needs required to meet regulatory deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft suite, particularly Excel

This position is a Hub role, which requires an employee to occasionally come onsite to the Minnetonka or Madison office for applicable heads-up work. Frequency is determined by business need as decided by leadership.

The full salary range for this position is $54,100 - $92,800. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data.
