Summary of Job

Responsible for shipping and receiving of all goods in and out of the facility. Assist in maintaining warehouse according to established 5S standards. Facilitate the movement of product throughout the facility as required to maintain inventories and out board orders.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Support, demonstrate and promote Pregis' core values: integrity, collaboration, customer focus and innovation.
• Adheres to the highest standards of company safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations including all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Housekeeping throughout assigned shift to ensure an orderly and safe environment.
• Physical and visual inspection of product is required to prevent non-conforming goods.
• Safety drives a forklift to stage material, load trucks, unload trucks and transfer material within the plant as needed.
• Perform material move transactions in SAP system as needed.
• Receive goods into SAP as required.
• Process required paperwork to ensure shipped and received goods are handled in inventory systems appropriately.
• Perform daily inventory as needed. Communicate information to the appropriate people to help maintain inventories of required consumables.
• Familiar with UPS and Fed Ex requirements.
• Able to communicate information to all levels of management.
• Attends meetings and completes safety trainings as required.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

• Prior Coyote or similar Logistics software.
• Prior SAP or similar ERP system knowledge.
• Microsoft Office knowledge and skill.

• Exposure to moving equipment.
• Inside work
• Heat may exceed 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Humidity may exceed 80%
• Noise may exceed 85dB+

Physical Characteristics

• Frequent standing, stooping, squatting, up to 75%
• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling (up to 50lbs.)
• Occasional typing/keyboarding/preparing documents, voice- assisted as needed.

Position Type

• Full time
• Shift work (8 hours)
• Overtime expected per business demand.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent required

• Minimum 2 year manufacturing preferred

Compensation

• The pay range for this position is $26/hr. to $28.50/hr. The Company offers paid vacation time, paid sick leave, medical, dental and vision plans as well as a 401(k) with employer match.
