Shift: Flexible 1st shift 7am to 5pm with occasional on call based on needs of the business.

Job Summary:

The Director of IT Integration and Epic Technology plays a key role in overseeing the integration of IT systems and managing the technical aspects of Froedtert's Epic EHR implementation. The director is responsible for managing a team of leader-level staff, overseeing team development, and providing technical leadership in data management and Epic EHR implementation. This role involves leading the optimizing data infrastructure, ensuring optimal hardware and software support, and preparing the organization for a Cloud journey. The director fosters communication and collaboration with stakeholders and vendors, defines analytics tools for actionable insights, and manages database solutions. Additionally, the director is responsible for budget management, ensures efficient allocation of resources to meet strategic objectives and maintains high levels of customer service.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

Ten (10) years of relevant technical experience is required including time in a formal leadership position.

Previous experience implementing and supporting a production EDW, Data Marts, and Master Data Management infrastructure is preferred.

Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.

Experience working in an Analytics-heavy Business Intelligence environment (SAS, Tableau, Qlik, etc.) Data Integration experience, including ability to design, document, develop and test data integration processes from analyst specifications.

Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement Database development, design and support

Experience with Epic is a plus SAS experience helpful.

Understanding Cloud strategies and developing roadmap in support of it.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Bachelor's Degree in related field is required.

Master's Degree is preferred.

Strong customer management and negotiation skills and the ability to mediate opposing viewpoints and articulate the advantages of a technology solution.
