Your opportunity:

As a Product Application Engineer I/ II or III for the Commercial Dampers HVAC Business Unit within the Greenheck Group you will provide distributor and online channel technical coordination of application support, product planning and development, and product and application training programs for internal and external customers.

What you'll be doing:

  • Provide technical support via phone and e-mail for both internal and external salespeople in the areas of product selection and application.
  • Develop solutions for product applications.
  • Communicate solutions for unique applications including design and special pricing.
  • Find solutions to field application problems.
  • Provide general product application support. Understand requirements for challenging applications.
  • Provide content for the development and updating of product literature.
  • Responsible for identifying key selling points.
  • Gather information for market studies.
  • Work with engineering to develop scope for enhancements on existing products.
  • Evaluates components for quality, reliability and performance and advise engineering and purchasing as to those components which might enhance the product.
  • Conduct analysis of the competitor's products and pricing and apply this knowledge to the company's advantage.
  • Organize and present training seminars internally and externally.
  • Conduct product training seminars and Product Center visits.
  • Will use customer pricing software to assist internal and external customers on a daily basis.
  • Conduct work associated with distributor and online channel product line expansions including internal IAN, PCN, BOM as well as completion of customer-specific templates.
  • Conduct work associated with Product Information Management (PIM) for content, data and visual assets as required for the channels.
  • Oversee and communicate scorecard metrics and financial reconciliations for the books of business in the channels we are responsible for.
  • Trade show booth coordination, travel and attendance on behalf of the brands and channels we represent. Assist with marketing concepts to support the businesses.
  • Collaborate within company and department regarding product obsolescence, changes, new additions and brands that will be added to the programs.

What you should have:

  • Work requires a professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, which is equivalent to that which would be acquired by completing a regular four-year college program.
  • Between 0-3 years of work experience is required.

Some things we think you should know:

  • This is a hybrid role.
  • Position will be based in our Mosinee WI location.
  • Must be able to travel once a month to give training and resolve field problems.
  • Must be comfortable giving formal presentations.
  • May assist with planning/coordination and attendance to trade shows.
  • Commercials HVAC knowledge is preferred.
  • Project Management experience is preferred.
