Job Summary:

The Executive Director of Undergraduate Career, Employer, and Pathway Engagement is responsible for delivering the WSB Career Forward Program. This student-centered program strives to make sure every student has access to career preparation and achieves their career goals. The Executive Director works with an outstanding team of professionals supporting all students.

Responsibilities: Develops strategy, policy and protocol, administers services, and cultivates relationships for career advising and/or employer relations efforts within a school or college to ensure all constituents receive quality career services support. Strives to create a welcoming, equitable, and inclusive work environment.
  • 10% Identifies, proposes, and implements new or revised operational policies and procedures for career advising and/or employer relations within a school or college
  • 15% Directs strategic planning initiatives and establishes career development unit objectives to ensure appropriate use of financial, administrative, and staffing resources, and alignment with the strategic plan
  • 15% Serves as a liaison to internal and external stakeholder groups to provide information on career outcomes and career services
  • 20% Identifies, promotes, and maintains external partnerships to understand employment needs and encourage recruitment of the institution's students
  • 10% Exercises supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees
  • 10% Participates and leads in the campus-wide career services community providing input to leadership regarding the development of advising, recruitment, and co/curricular programs offered by the school/college
  • 20% Direct student support through trek participation and coaching.

Education:

Required
Bachelor's Degree

Qualifications:

Required:
- 5 years of experience in higher education
- 3 years of supervisory experience
- 3 years of budget management experience

Preferred:
- Use of data to inform decision making and improve organizations and processes
- Demonstrated leadership in creating a positive team culture
- Exceptional administrative skills
- Professional work experience in a field that is part of our school strategic plan such as consulting, finance, or marketing.
- Experience working with campus partners and stakeholders
- Experience working in a business school

Work Type:

Full Time: 100%

It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.

Salary:

Minimum $110,000 ANNUAL (12 months)
