Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the full life cycle of the recruiting process, from candidate sourcing to on-boarding of Ace Precision employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Takes responsibility for the full life cycle of the recruiting process, from candidate sourcing to on-boarding of Ace Precision employees.

  • Builds business understanding and hiring manager relationships to effectively understand requisitions, find talent that aligns with the business needs (technically and culturally), guide managers through hiring process and consult on and recommend solutions for recruiting bottlenecks and market challenges.

  • Identifies opportunities to build applicant pipeline to ensure consistent on-going flow of qualified candidates. Works with local community resources to build recruiting tools and candidate pipeline.

  • Sources passive talent and attracts candidates to engage in recruiting process and to learn more about open opportunities. Maintains an ongoing focus on identifying a diverse talent pool.

  • Ensures sourced candidates are tracked in applicant tracking system for affirmative action reporting and recruiting process tracking. Reviews active applicants in applicant tracking system and dispositions candidates as status' change throughout the recruiting process.

  • Builds employer brand through educating candidates about Ace Precision culture and opportunity during phone interviews, job postings, job fairs, social media and community engagement activities.

  • Works with HR team on department Continuous Improvement efforts and collaborates on a daily basis to solve recruiting and onboarding challenges and share solutions. Contributes to the HR team effort by assisting in areas as needed.

  • Follows established policies and practices throughout recruiting process to ensure hiring managers and candidates have a consistent and positive experience.

  • Reports requisition progress on a weekly basis to HR business partners and hiring managers. Monitors efficiency and success rates of recruiting methods and make adjustments as needed.

  • Conducts and follow-ups on background checks and pre-employment drug screens for all selected applicants to ensure all steps are completed before designated start date.

  • Enters new hires in HRIS and Time Management systems and prepares & completes all pre-hire/new hire paperwork for new employees.

  • Conducts new hire orientation and onboarding for all new hires; participates in new hire check-ins.

  • Demonstrates thorough knowledge of and conformity to Ace Precision Quality System Work Instruction requirements that govern human resource operations.

  • Maintains or exceeds organization standards through organization and planning.

  • Follows and complies with safety rules, regulations, and work instructions.

  • Accurately completes all required documentation.

  • Meets attendance policy requirements.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) required, preferably in Human Resources or Business. Minimum of 2 years of full cycle recruiting/sourcing experience in a manufacturing-based recruiting role, preferably working for a manufacturer with a continuous improvement focus. Experience sourcing and leveraging LinkedIn and other recruiting tools to engage passive candidates in the recruiting process. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to take initiative. Proficient in use of Human Resources Information Systems and Applicant Tracking Systems, as well as Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present materials to individuals and groups while keeping them actively engaged. Ability to respond to technical inquiries, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Requires considerable initiative and decision-making judgment.
