Responsibilities:
- Responding to production requests for immediate attention to production line issues and problems
- Maintaining production equipment
- Maintaining records of preventative maintenance
- Creating requisitions of parts and supplies to maintain equipment
- Using knowledge to maintain electrical/electronic systems and general production line equipment
- Identifying problem areas and addressing with permanent solutions
- Following all safety and quality procedures and policies
Requirements:
- Associates degree or equivalent from technical school or college
- 3 years of maintenance experience/training
- Advanced understanding of manufacturing processes
- Ability to make decisions based on standard practice
- Advanced understanding of production machinery and equipment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshooting, and problem solving
- Advanced understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings
- Familiarity with OSHA requirements
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, reach, and pull
- Ability to lift/move 50 pounds
- Repetitive work in fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in temperatures between 50-60 degrees
