Calibration Technician
Syracuse, NY
Job Description
SRCTec, LLC is currently seeking a 1st shift calibration technician. This position supports a dynamic, dedicated production team in a variety of tool calibration and calibration management activities. The calibration technician coordinates calibration services and maintenance of SRCTec's test and measurement assets.
What You'll Do
- Prepare equipment to be sent for calibration weekly
- Receive equipment from calibration services weekly
- Maintain accurate calibration records
- Maintain Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) system
- Assist test engineering team when needed
- Perform test station maintenance
- Maintain calibrated tool Kanban
- Request quotes for new equipment and drive test equipment acquisition
- Drive improvements in the calibration area
What You'll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent and training from a technical trade school or military technical school and 3+years related experience. OR associate degree in a technical specialty such as electronics technology and 3+years related experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain accurate electronic records
- Routine and frequent lifting of 50 pounds or more with or without reasonable accommodations
- Must have solid computer skills to include the use of MS Office and Internet browsers
Ways to Stand Out - Preferred Requirements
- A background in Radio Frequency (RF) theory and/or operation is preferred
- Possess mechanical aptitude and have small tool skills
- Experience with printed circuit card assemblies (PCAs) is preferred
- Possess hands on skills with multi-meters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum and network analyzers, and RF power meters is preferred

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $50,000 to $60,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
