Job Description
The Provider Enrollment Team Lead oversees the day-to-day operations of the provider enrollment team, ensuring the timely and accurate enrollment of healthcare providers with various payers and regulatory bodies. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of healthcare regulations and payer requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of provider enrollment specialists.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure productivity and quality standards are met.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Coordinate training sessions to enhance team members' skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and payer policies.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews of enrollment applications to identify errors or discrepancies.
  • Implement corrective actions and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding provider enrollment matters.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as billing, and contracting, to streamline processes and resolve issues.
  • Communicate regularly with providers to gather necessary information and address concerns.

Qualifications
Required

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
  • At least 5 years of credentialing, re-credentialing and privileging experience for a large healthcare organization.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 2 years supervisor or management experience.
