Schneider is seeking a financially sound Pricing Analyst to work with various departments across the enterprise to commit to formal and informal pricing and price review analysis. This will include executing pricing proposals accurately and timely, as well as preparing pricing data to be included in the written responses to customers formal requests for proposal.
About the role:
Participate in market reviews, analyze pricing results and account/lane/market profitability
Use market pricing knowledge to influence the commercial leadership team on freight decisions
Provide customized analysis on customer accessorial, dray proximity and fuel surcharge
Maintain consistent attendance while exhibiting behavior in alignment with our core values
Ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor degree in Finance, Operations or related field
One to two years of work experience in transportation or logistics, with an analytical emphasis is preferred
Ability to think broadly and balance business objectives, customer needs, and process design; consider multiple inputs and project business results
Strong analytical and technical (Excel, Access and database) skills, and an understanding of external markets, costs, competitors and financial levers
Ability to build strong business partnerships in an ambiguous environment
