The Implementation Specialist is a highly motivated professional with solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio. Experience with CRM and various reporting tools are a plus. Ability to analyze and interpret data is required. Excellent oral and written communications is required. Business writing experience is a plus. Ability to plan, organize and focus on details is critical. The Implementation Specialist must have strong relationship skills to be able to work with the client team members and the subject matter experts within Navitus, which will be key to a successful implementation. Excellent communication skills are necessary to ensure all team members are kept well informed of the requirements.

The Implementation Specialist will partner with the Implementation Project Manager to implement new Navitus clients as well as other projects contributing toward team goals. This position is responsible for the coordination of these projects with focus on requirements gathering.

How do I make an impact on my team?

  • Build client profile utilizing implementation tools (SharePoint, CRM, Smartsheet, etc.) based on business sold and outlined in RFP and contract.
  • Develop kick off materials for the purposes of requirements gathering and discovery.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Identify and capture decisions, risks, issues, and action items regarding implementations and publish to the internal and external project sites.
  • Review and translate client plan documents and capture all requirements in the standard project tools.
  • Coordinate for regularly scheduled internal and external project status meetings capturing meeting notes and follow up items.
  • Collaborate with clients on client system access and ensure provisioning is in place.
  • Monitor and manage escalated client issues, member issues, project issues, etc. as identified or requested by the client through the support of the Navitus subject matter experts and make required outreach for path to resolution.
  • Active participant in active Go Live claims monitoring, identify issues and triage issues. This requires working on Go Live and other non-business days as needed.
  • Compile lessons learned post Go Live and partner with respective internal teams to develop solutions to enhance process improvement.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related area; or equivalent work.
  • Knowledge of PBM or health care industry preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize work to meet client and internal needs.
  • Strong team orientation, commitment to sales and client service and desire to succeed.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet client requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and negotiation skills required.
  • PC skills; Microsoft Office, Email, and Internet.
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
