As an IT Project Manager, you are the owner of your project success from business requirements through deployment and transition to post-production support. You have the ability to drive your project team to remove obstacles to keep projects on track. You have experience running IT projects, both for applications and infrastructure. You are a dynamic thinker who loves a challenge and is capable of managing multiple projects at one time.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage project schedules to ensure project completes as planned
  • Develop and manage project budgets to ensure project completes within expected budget
  • Track and manage risks, issues, actions and decisions related to assigned projects
  • Develop and report out on project status reports
  • Manage assigned project resources, including vendors, to ensure completion of assigned tasks
  • Escalate issues to supervisor on a timely basis to ensure timely resolution
  • Ensure project follows PMO policies and procedures
  • Manage multiple projects at one time
  • Keep project stakeholders informed of project status


Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's in Information Technology or related field
  • PMP certification strongly preferred
  • 5-10 years' experience managing IT related projects
  • Strong understanding of information technology including hardware, software and applications
  • Strong understanding of the Systems Development Lifecycle

  • Must be a U.S. Person (i.e. a lawful permanent resident of the U.S.)
  • Basic understanding of Agile and Waterfall development methodologies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Ability to drive diverse teams to successful project conclusion
  • Ability to organize project teams with competing priorities to successful project conclusion
