Technical Support Specialist/End User Services Technician (Full Time | Minneapolis)
As an EUS Technician, you are a developing member of the End User Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with others, as well as working independently, to ensure end users have the necessary tools, resources, and support to have a seamless and productive experience with their technology resources.

What you'll accomplish:
  • Perform Tier I and II level support.
  • Troubleshoot PC hardware and software within the framework of established company policies and procedures.
  • Provide on-site support for desktop and laptop PCs at locations throughout the local area.
  • Support users at our client's offices (in-person and remote), support of other locations as necessary with limited supervision.
  • Learn and understand the deployment, recycle, and disposal process of PCs at the direction of managers and peers.
  • Replace existing PCs as they come to the end of their lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with team members to keep parts and supplies depot at a customer site.
  • Provide effective technical support to customers in-person and over the phone.
  • Complete PC hardware build outs.
  • Maintain detailed records of each support request, including the issue description, troubleshooting steps taken, and the resolution provided.
  • Use ticketing system to track and manage support requests efficiently and effectively.
  • Support clients through on-call rotation.
What you'll bring:
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly and patiently with users.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Experience imaging or loading PCs for use.
  • Experience with PC refreshes, replacing existing PCs, and transferring of data.
  • Experience with break/fix replacement hardware components on PCs.
  • Experience supporting the following technologies: Network printers, handheld point-of-sale devices (iPads or equivalent with POS software installed), and VOIP desk phones (connecting and troubleshooting).
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and perform after hours work as needed.
  • Mac troubleshooting experience preferred.
Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent or combination of education and experience. Advanced technical training preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience with desktop troubleshooting.
