Summary

Hexagon's Manufacturing Intelligence division is seeking a Principal Human Resources Business Partner to support our North Kingstown Rhode Island location in a hybrid capacity.

The Principal HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for partnering with business leaders to drive organizational growth and success through effective HR strategies and initiatives. You will serve as a trusted advisor, providing guidance on a wide range of HR topics, from talent management and workforce planning to employee relations and performance management. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the culture, foster employee engagement, and contribute to the achievement of our business objectives.

Job Responsibilities
  • Strategic HR Partnership: Collaborate with business leaders to understand their goals and challenges, align HR strategies with business objectives, and ensure the HR function contributes to the overall success of the organization.
  • Talent Management: Lead the development and implementation of talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies. This includes workforce planning, succession planning, and talent reviews.
  • Employee Relations: Provide expert guidance on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, investigations, and performance improvement plans. Ensure a fair and consistent approach to HR practices.
  • Organizational Development: Lead initiatives related to organizational design, change management, and employee development to support the company's growth and evolution.
  • Performance Management: Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews. Help managers and employees drive performance and achieve their professional goals.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Collaborate with the compensation team to ensure competitive and equitable compensation programs.
  • HR Policies and Compliance: Ensure that HR policies and practices are compliant with relevant laws and regulations. Monitor changes in labor laws and recommend necessary adjustments.
  • Employee Engagement: Develop and implement engagement initiatives to promote a positive and inclusive work culture. Measure and analyze employee engagement data and recommend improvements.
  • Data Analytics: Utilize HR data and metrics to make informed decisions and provide insights to drive organizational improvements. Identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in an HRBP role. Experience in manufacturing is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience partnering with senior leadership in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Demonstrated success in driving HR initiatives that contribute to the business's strategic goals.

Primarily an office setting, with occasional visits to the factory floor.

Office is clean, orderly, properly lighted, and ventilated.
