Job Objective
The Recreational Therapist is responsible for planning and implementing a varied program of activities to meet individual needs and goals of each resident in the facility. These activities will be therapeutic and goal-oriented.

Full time 1st shift
Job Standards
1. Graduate of an accredited college with a degree in Recreational Therapy or related field, preferred.
2. Must understand the social, psychological and recreational needs of the elderly as well as other types of disabled residents in the Jesuit Community, and must be able to plan and organize activities geared to those needs.
3. Able to work cooperatively with others as part of interdisciplinary care team.
4. Able to perform all essential job functions without causing harm to self or others with or without reasonable accommodations.
5. Must have automobile available for running frequent errands and purchasing supplies.
6. Valid WI driver's license
7. Show evidence of interest in continuous professional growth.
8. Ability to promote socialization and cooperative relationships with Jesuits.
9. Ability to work independently.
10. Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
11. Strong interpersonal communication skills, written and oral communication skills, as well as ability to work effectively and harmoniously with a variety of people.
