NielsenIQ is searching for a US Sales Leadfor its Consumer Insights team to play a strategic role with senior team leaders while supporting and growing new client relationships.

The US Sales Lead is an integral part of the sales team and serves to support the team revenue goals by helping to sell-in customized quantitative and qualitative solutions. This includes helping to generate new leads, creating proposals, participating in client pitches, creating and sharing Thought Leadership, and support in managing end-to-end sales cycles.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of strong and captivating proposals to meet client needs, based on short research briefs and/or elaborate RFPs
  • Demonstrate expertise in Tech, Media, Gaming, and Fintech categories.
  • Understand how to probe the client and ask the right questions to design the research proposal
  • Design the research study, connecting the dots to create a compelling proposal
  • Lead the costing structure, methodological design, analytical framework, etc. using sales platforms for costing
  • Ability to create sales cadences and track revenue pipeline
  • Collaborate with Marketing team on sales campaign outreaches to generate new leads
  • Lead internal and external capabilities sharing to build CI awareness and work with Sales Lead to create new opportunities
  • Understand and influence the positioning of each CI solution and know how to best present this to clients
  • Ability to pull in historical client specific insights, industry material and thought leadership information into client conversations and proposals to build context and clarity to the outcomes our solutions can deliver
  • Work closely with the sales lead to helpexecute and manage end-to-end sales process including pricing, cross-selling, upselling, negotiations, and closing
  • Works cross-functionally, be a client advocate and with account team leadership to deliver against client needs
  • Lead client meetings, understand client business objectives and support sales follow ups and next steps

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 4+ years of experience in market research or sales with internal or external client exposure
  • Consultative selling experience
  • Excellent oral communication and writing skills
  • Strong Marketing/Research background with analytic aptitude
  • Strong Project Management and MS Office skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, highly motivated, strong orientation toward client relationships
  • Ability to handle multiple projects/assignments at once, and prioritize based on client and team feedback
