Summary of Position: Responsible for the verification and accurate entry of sales orders

Essential Duties:

• Enter customer data and sales order information into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system

• Review customer order prep sheets against the customer purchase order details to ensure accurate entry. Notify account representatives of discrepancies for resolution.

• Generate price/order acknowledgments and then verify accuracy by comparing them to the customer's pricing matrix

• Review and compare completed orders against checklist to ensure orders are entered accurately.

• Prepare receiving packets to give to production

• Maintain the Sales Orders Inbox (Outlook) and distribute emails to Inside Sales Representatives.

• Run reports as necessary and manage the Inside Sales Coordinator workbench in the ERP

• Match incoming arrival bill of ladings with previously entered receiving paperwork

• Maintain customer Receiving Work Order files

• Process freight reports and ensure proper charges are applied to orders

• Issue warranties

• Apply Lean principles in own work performance and drive Lean applications in company operations

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Post high-school education preferred.

• Fast and accurate data entry skills

• Prior experience in customer service data entry helpful

• Strong math skills are required for price reconciliation and calculating CAD drawing exposures.

• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills and customer focus (verbal and written)

• Team player, willing to cross train and take on new assignments

• Computer software proficiency - Word, Excel, Outlook, ERP/MRP
