Job Description

Requirements:

Candidate must have 2 years of experience providing manufacturing technical support within the home appliance industry. Must have experience in: Manufacturing processes, technologies, and equipment, including Hydraulic Press processes. AutoCAD, Automation Studio Simulation for Hydraulics, Rx Logix 500 & 5000, FESTO fluid SIM Maintenance and upgrades on Electrical Control, VFD, Hydraulics/Pneumatics Design, PLC (AB). Hydraulic troubleshooting and modification on high pressure systems. Lean Manufacturing concepts and tools, including 5S, Poke Yoke, OEE, and DMAIC SMED. Complying with Health and Safety requirements for General Facilities processes of HVAC, Gas, Air, Compressors, and Electrical Installation, including Rigging, Machine Transfer, Cooling Tower, Diesel Generator, and UPS. Travel to distribution and packaging centers as needed.

Job Duties:

Provide leadership to the process improvement, maintenance, and safety teams (including mechanics, installers, and repairers) across multiple distribution and packaging centers. Supervise and plan weekly tasks based on production needs, project support and preventive maintenance schedules. Monitor employees' work levels and review work performance. Supervise the installation and maintenance of equipment such as: conveyors, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, heating equipment and controls, plumbing and piping systems, ensuring all equipment is kept to Electrolux safety standards. Inspect and monitor work areas, examine tools and equipment, and provide employee safety training to prevent, detect, and correct unsafe conditions or violations of procedures and safety rules. Provide technical guidance in troubleshooting hydraulics, pneumatic's and PLC utilizing simulation software (Automation studio, FESTO fluid SIM). Perform hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting and modification on high pressure systems. Analyze, plan, and implement solutions to create efficient preventive maintenance routines on equipment and facilities. Provide guidance on ultrasonic and infrared tests in order to develop maintenance and upgrade routines on Electrical Control, VFD, Hydraulics/Pneumatics Design, and PLC (AB). Review technical specifications for new equipment purchase, incorporating Lean Manufacturing concepts and tools, including 5S, Poke Yoke, OEE, and DMAIC. Coordinate process modification on facilities and equipment to ensure good processes, including Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and PLC using AutoCAD, Automation Studio Simulation for Hydraulics, Rx Logix 500 & 5000, and FESTO fluid SIM to ensure process modifications on equipment and availability, including Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and PLC. Monitor tool and part inventories and the condition and maintenance of shops to ensure adequate working conditions. Conduct Hydraulic & Pneumatic training (troubleshooting, modifications, and upgrades) over all facilities applying experience and knowledge of Rigging, electrical installation, HVAC. Develop, implement, or evaluate electronic maintenance policies and procedures. Improve facilities lay-out and process flow. Prioritize and schedule maintenance requests and process improvement workshops. Implement Energy protection system DIESEL GENERATOR. Introduce and implement CMMS on maintenance department. Ensure Health and Safety requirements for all General Facilities processes for HVAC, Gas, Air, Compressors, and Electrical Installation, including Rigging, Machine Transfer, Cooling Tower, Diesel Generator, and UPS. Travel to domestic distribution and packaging centers in as needed.
