Cox Automotive is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist II. This position, located in Atlanta, Georgia, focuses on specialized Accounts Payable (AP) functions within Finance Process Center of Excellence. The position is responsible for AP transactional activities including but not limited to the oversight of 3rd Party interface programs. Management of Cox Automotive' s 3rd party vendor relationship for external invoice processing. Customer service management of phone and email inquiries, troubleshooting & resolution of system interface exceptions, transaction reconciliations, payment research, creation and processing help desk incidents in SNOW. This position also supports other departments within the organization such as Supply Chain, Controller, Assistant Controller, and/or Staff Accountant.
RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE:
Ensure electronic invoice files are coded, uploaded and interfaced into the system
Ensure timely processing of specialized invoice types within defined SLA's such as but not limited to wire payments, rebates, title registrations
Research, troubleshoot, and resolve invoice interface exceptions within defined service level agreements
Monitor invoice processing performance with 3rd Party Vendor
Work with and respond to internal and external customers in a timely manner - exhibit superior customer service
Partner with 3rd Party Vendors to ensure proper set up suppliers in Oracle, ensuring appropriate documentation has been provided.
Assist with onboarding vendors onto electronic invoicing processing
Assist in process development and Standard Operating Procedures documentation for Electronic & Specialized invoice processes
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years experience in a fast paced Accounts Payable environment. A candidate may also have any level degree or certificate beyond HS Diploma or GED with 1+ years of experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required
Effective accounting and organizational skills required
Excellent computer and software knowledge essential, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, with Oracle
Strong time management skills and ability to meet multiple deadlines
Working with customers or vendors to resolve AP issues, excellent customer service track record
USD 19.18 - 28.80 per hour
Compensation:
Hourly base pay rate is $19.18 - $28.80/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Benefits:
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
