Key responsibility is to operate the warehouse systems at maximum capability according to documented process and procedures. This task area consists of forklift operation and thorough understanding of WMS and SAP computer systems. This area is responsible for ensuring all raw materials are available when needed to meet production schedule by the release, receipt and storage of such items in accordance with QOS. This area is responsible supplying raw materials to appropriate work area, return to stock upon completion of production and storage of finished products. This area is responsible for the generation of QC hold numbers, tagging, storing and disposition of hold product. Responsible for cycle counts and inventory adjustments within the warehouse, schedule, inspect, load and ship all finish product shipments. They will perform SAP transaction in support of tanker shipments. Provide necessary rotational support to other areas of the facility. Communicate to meet established goals and deadlines. Work in a safe manner and maintains a safe work environment.
Basic Equipment Operations Consists of: Forklift operation, knowledge of RF unit, understanding of warehouse location and rules associated with storage of items, operate dock door/hitch/plate and trailer jack, visual inspection of trailer, Function under directed work including shipping and supply to production areas. Seal trailer, label skids identified for QC hold, scan skids to QC location. Scan loads being received, scan load to put away location.
Advanced equipment Operation Consists of above:
Verify physical inventory within WMS, in SAP and problem solve inventory discrepancies. Execute finished good and tanker shipping reports, print pick list, and plan orders in system, create STOS, create delivery and shipment numbers, scheduling trucks. Check in trucks, allocate and ship in WMS and in SAP. Completed accompanying documents-positive release and manifests. Problem solve any issues accompanied with above process including staged loads, returned pallets, short shipping, or case picks. Release raw and packaging materials required for daily production, including SAP transactions and use of MRP. Check in receiving trucks, print labels and scan into inventory. Ensure complete documentation including WMS, SAP, and positive release. Monitor fruit board and fruit receipts from freezer locations. Request components for appropriate lines. Complete return to stock at end of production cycles. Generate QC Hold numbers and assign/release as needed in positive release. Perform inventory adjustments and cycle counts as needed.
Daily Safety Responsibilities Include:
Complying with the Tomah Safety Policy
Tools in proper locations
Following proper LOTO-TO procedures
Using proper PPE as required
Properly conducted and documented forklift safety and operational checks
Adherence to trailer jack safety procedure.
Follow proper operation and safety procedures when using forklift.
Daily Quality assurance Responsibilities include:
Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices
Follow operational cleaning CBM procedures
Completing and documenting all quality checks as required
Rinse, clean, and sanitize the above equipment and associated areas as required per CBM's and QOS's
Completing Required Master Sanitation Schedules
COP all hoses and pipes
Work within established quality procedures and standards to ensure food safety.
