As a Senior HR Business Partner, you'll be a trusted advisor and partner with leadership on key HR strategies and programs to include: performance management, compensation, recruitment, retention, employee relations, workforce planning, employee development and training.

What You will Need:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related

  • Professional Human Resources (PHR) Certification - preferred

  • 5-7 years of HR Business Partner or Leadership Experience with 2-3 years of consulting or business partnering experience

  • Prior experience working within healthcare preferred

  • Strong ability to foster relationships and work with a variety of employees and leadership

  • Strategic mindset

  • Prior union experience and contract negotiation skills a plus

Job Description:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.

Certification/Registration/Licensure:

Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.

Experience:

5-7 years Human Resources, Business Partner or Leader experience is required with 2-3 years demonstrated consulting and/or business partner experience.

2-3 years previous experience working in healthcare industry preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Consults, develops and implements integrated HR strategies to support achievement of operating goals and objectives. Serves as HR Business Partner with an operating team. Responsible for partnering on key HR strategies and programs such as organizational development, performance management, compensation, recruitment, retention, employee relations, workforce planning and employee development and training. Assists leadership in planning, implementing and evaluating HR initiatives.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Partners with business unit leaders to develop and deliver strategic HR solutions to achieve business unit goals.

2. Partners with business unit leaders to align HR practices with business strategy and identify potential barriers to goal attainment.

3. Provides counsel and support to leaders and/or employees in the administration of HR policies and procedures.

4. May provide resolution of employee relations and performance issues.

5. Partners with business unit leaders in the process of performance management, associate engagement survey interpretation and action planning, patient satisfaction strategies and training and development needs in order to develop a culture that supports achievement of objectives.

6. Uses knowledge of Human Resources, legal and regulatory requirements in conjunction with market best practice to ensure business unit compliance and competitiveness.

7. Collects and analyzes HR data and develops recommendations and action plans to address issues.

8. Supports the implementation of HR programs, communications and initiatives.

9. A thought-leader in HR administration.

10. Performs other duties as assigned.
