Travel Operations Manager, Media & Entertainment (Hybrid)

In thisroleyou will be responsible for managing a global operations teamwho arededicated to Apple Entertainment, focusing on managing all aspects of travel. We are looking for someone who can work in a fast-paced, exciting industry and who is looking for their next challenge within the entertainment industry.We want someone who enjoys building strong and trusting client and supplier relationships, who relishes working in a challenging environment, andsomeonewho is looking to do things just alittlebit differently than the norm.You will be someonewhoisdedicatedto their team, enjoys working as part of a larger organization, andisconstantly looking at ways to improve the current operations.This position demonstrates an extensive understanding and applicability of all areas in the entertainment travel industry, client servicing, and business practices.

As a Travel Operations Manager, Media & Entertainment,you will

  • Serve as the primary liaison betweenApple'sProduction and PRTeams and the BCD teams, as well as building astrongrelationship withApple'sEntertainment TravelManager
  • SupportApple'stravel program byidentifying program goals andcarrying out action plans to implement programobjectives
  • Have extensive knowledge of media and entertainment as well as at least one travel industry category, allowing you toprovide direction on best practices to improve operational processes
  • Serve as a liaison among clients, travelers, and suppliers by listening, problem-solving, and communicating both verbally and inwriting
  • Develop and maintain relationships with oursuppliers,and be the escalation point for vendorconcerns
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders across various levels oforganization
  • Communicate travel initiatives, travel category results, updates to program orindustry
  • Ensure all operational goals are consistently met and work to implement and measure continuous improvementefforts
  • Work with the event management team for AppleEntertainment

About you

  • Prioroperations management experience in the travel industry andMedia & Entertainment field
  • Experience managing Entertainment and VIP clients
  • Strong knowledge of Sabre GDS
  • Experience with contract negotiations, payment solutions, and supplier sourcing
  • Experience working in cross-functional work teams andwithlargemarketand/orglobal clients
  • Highly effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead - setting direction, developing teamwork and collaboration, and achieving results through others
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to ever-changing scenarios

The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position ofTravel Operations Manager, Media & Entertainmentis between $90,000 and $114,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
