Job Description
Ziegler CAT currently has an opening for a Warehouse Inventory Specialist. This position will complete cyclical inventory counts and research parts inventory discrepancies in the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

  • Organizes and participates in cyclical inventory management, assisting in all year-end processes
  • Completes a total physical inventory of the parts warehouse by November 30th of each year, including entering counts, completing recounts, and scheduling a final inventory update
  • Processes incoming inventory and updates stock as necessary
  • Enters adjustments to inventory as necessary, working with warehouse personnel to resolve any errors
  • Receives and processes extended stock orders and branch transfers, keeping both files up to date and always accurate
  • Reviews stock replenishment and parts exception reports, validating the parts inventory count to make daily appropriate adjustments
  • Reviews and processes location-change verification reports, verifying parts are in their proper location daily
  • Completes any additionally required filing daily
  • Works in a cooperative manner with team and superiors

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1-2 years related parts or inventory experience required
  • Data entry along with Microsoft Office experience
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Organized with attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task

Travel:

Up to 10% travel

Minimum Physical Requirements:

  • Push/pull up to 25 lbs
  • Neck rotation, trunk rotation, stair climbing, ladder climbing, repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squat, forward reaching, overhead reaching.
  • Noise level may be moderate at times.
