Job Description

SCOPE OF ROLE:

This individual will provide broad, in-depth Project Management (PM) expertise in order to achieve strategic and operational performance objectives to reach business goals within Regal Rexnord.This person will be considered

a key figure in project management, responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of complex projects within the Industrial Powertrain Solutions (IPS) Commercial, Sales and Marketing teams.You will be closely aligned with the RBS Continuous Improvement Team and will assist with the maturation of the Regal Rexnord Business Management System (RBS).This position has high visibility with the leadership team and reports directly to the CI Manager in Commercial Excellence.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Program and Portfolio Management: Managing multiple projects to ensure they align with strategic business objectives.
  • Project Planning, Goal Setting and Implementation: Oversee the development, planning and execution of projects, working with stakeholders to set project goals and estimate budgets (if applicable).
  • People Development: Facilitate in-person or virtual Leadership Development and RBS CI "tool champion" workshops in a professional, organized manner that clearly demonstrates the Regal Rexnord mission and values.
  • Team Leadership: Provide on-site leadership for the project team, building and motivating team members to meet project goals and adhere to their responsibilities.
  • Resource Management: Manage resources, schedules, financials, and adhere to quality control guidelines throughout the project life cycle.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Set deadlines, provide feedback, and communicate with key stakeholders about the status of their project (portfolio management and executive summaries).
  • Risk and Change Management: Manage issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to process improvement initiatives and assist in identifying areas of inefficiency and waste within existing processes and workflows, and lead initiatives to streamline operations and improve overall productivity.
  • Data Analysis: Assist in the analyzing of data and metrics to identify trends, root causes of problems, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Performance Monitoring: Assist leaders in monitoring and tracking progress of PM initiatives, measure key performance indicators (KPIs), and report on results to stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Responsible for the ongoing development and maturation of the RBS Management System and evolving our Culture and Core Value of Continuous Improvement.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging PM methodologies to continuously enhance knowledge and skills in PM principles and practices.
  • Apply principles of Lean/PDCA in daily improvement and project work.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, organizational development or combination of associate degree with related field experience required.
  • 10 years of project management experience, with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred, but not required.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies.
  • LSS Green-Belt and/or equivalent Lean certification preferred, but not required.
  • Change Management experience: certification preferred, but not required.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Business acumen in Commercial processes - Sales, Marketing and Customer Care (preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Project, Office 365 (Whiteboard, Forms, etc.), and Visio required.
  • Power BI experience preferred.
