Work Schedule:

90%, day shift between the hours of 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM. You will work at Science Dr Medical Center and East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking an Athletic Trainer/Ortho Fitter to:

  • Perform initial patient assessment including medical history and physical examination.
  • Provide patient education on the diagnosis and treatment plan outlined by the attending physician.
  • Document clinic patient visit according to documentation policies.

Education:

Minimum - Undergraduate Degree in Athletic Training is required

Preferred - Masters Degree in healthcare, education, business, or marketing

Work Experience:

Minimum -

Preferred -Minimum (2) years experience as a physician extender in a clinical setting preferred.

Experience in the areas of orthotics lab, casting room, or equivalent experience preferred.

Certifications:

Minimum - Certification by the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification.

Licensure as an Athletic Trainer in the State of Wisconsin

Preferred - Orthotics Technician Certification (OTC) preferred.
