The Stoughton Area School District is accepting applications for a 1.0 FTE Elementary Teacher at Kegonsa Elementary School, effective at the start of the 2024-2025 school year.

At Kegonsa we are on the move to empower and prepare all learners both academically and social-emotionally as they move across levels in the Stoughton Area School District.

We are looking for educators who will help us carry out our mission to provide a full life of options for every single student that passes through our doors. These educators will:
* Believe in an inclusive, assets-based approach to service-delivery
* Be relentless, growth centered learner, curious and open minded to new ideas
* Commit to sustained collaboration with general educators and other specialists
* Be deeply reflective--constantly examining and refining practice
* Employ culturally and linguistically responsive teaching practices and a trauma informed lens

Preferred experience
* Familiarity using the CCSS to guide instruction
Experience and training in phonics and the science of reading and Bridges Math
* Responsive Classroom Training
* Experience with using science and social studies as the accelerator for learning
