Our Forklift Operators load and unload trucks and railcars, taking product to and from the production lines, and storing and staging product and maintaining all required records. If you are a creative problem-solver who perseveres through challenging situations, we want to talk with you.This position is located at the Manitowoc Packaging Center.

What You'll Do:

  • Before shift start-up, examine shipping schedule to be completed that shift.
  • Maintain a constant supply of raw product to lines to ensure unnecessary downtime.
  • Count and verify pallet ticket to ensure the correct product is being used on each line.
  • Open totes and place them in the dump towers in order of input tickets recorded.
  • Remove empty totes from the dump towers.
  • Assist Freezer Production Forklift Drivers with locating necessary product.
  • Remove pallet tickets from totes and turn them into Quality Control in order of input product.
  • Make dumpsters available and empty when necessary.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
  • Adhere to all Lakeside Foods policies and procedures.

What You'll Bring:

  • Six months to one year electrical forklift experience and/or training.
  • Must be certified in electric forklift operations.
  • Positive attitude
