Job Description

The Information Security Engineer will play a key role in monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents to ensure the protection of the organization's information assets/infrastructure. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, utilizing cutting-edge technologies to safeguard the organization.


  • Monitor security alerts using advanced security information and event management (SIEM) technologies.
  • Engages in incident response activities, including conducting security incident investigations, collecting evidence, and coordinating with internal and external entities to effectively respond to and recover from security incidents.
  • Work alongside server, network and desktop operation support and necessary stakeholders in effectively investigating and remediating incidents and security related events.
  • Perform threat hunting and investigations into potential threats based on log data and provide the results of the analysis to management.
  • Develop automated security incident response playbooks to enhance the efficiency of security operations.
  • Keeps abreast of the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends, recommending appropriate security measures and technologies to strengthen the company's security posture.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including IT, compliance, and business units, to develop and enforce information security policies, standards, and procedures that conform to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

  • Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in Information Security or Information Technology.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years experience working in a Security Operations Center or incident response handler.
  • Experience with mainstream security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM & SOAR systems)
  • Proficiency in Python programming.
  • Experience with machine learning, artificial intelligence, and zero-trust security principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient communication and collaboration skills.
  • Availability to provide 24-hour on-call support as needed.
