We're looking for a DevOps Support Engineer who expects more from their career. As DevOps Support Engineer you would be part of a larger global team responsible for planning, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for all our Price and Promotion Products and providing 3rd line engineering support of operations related issues in your region. Plus, you would be a Subject Matter Expert for dunnhumby solutions and will be a contact for dunnhumby clients beyond any solution implementation for any software related issues. Your biggest stakeholders are dunnhumby's clients, client leads, technical account management and product developers who rely on your understanding of the client's solutions, configurations and issues to deliver client value.

What we expect from you

  • 5+ years of experience in an engineering role including 3rd line application support within a public cloud environment preferably but not limited to GCP and/or Azure.
  • Experience building automation and pipelines (integration, testing, deployment) using CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, TeamCity, Octopus, GoCD, etc.)
  • Experience working with and maintaining version control and package management systems (e.g. Artifactory, APT, Git/GitHub/GitLab)
  • Experience with Docker containers (images and registry management)
  • Experience with Kubernetes to orchestrate the deployment, Scaling and management of Docker containers.
  • Experience with scripting in Python/Bash/PowerShell
  • Understanding of metrics collectors such as Graphite or Prometheus is good to have.
  • Experience representing client issues as part of an engineering team such that they are resolved within agreed SLA's
  • Fluency in querying and investigating data across various database platforms
  • Experience of incident, defect, release and change management within the ITIL Framework
  • Ability to work collaboratively on a cross-functional team with a wide range of experience levels and across multiple distributed teams
