About This Role:

Role Overview:Universal Consulting Services (UCS) a subsidiary of Tria Federal (Tria) is seekinga talentedQuality Control Specialist III. The person in this role will support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division, Facilities Department, Port Hueneme, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance ofthe Quality Assurance and Compliance Program and Policy at the Division Level and implementing the Division wide Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Assist the NSWC PHD QMS lead to achieve NSWC PHD's Quality objectives and goals
  • Execute the QMS in accordance with developed policy, plans, and procedures to include accounting for newly emerging ideas and concepts
  • Support the management of the NSWC PHD QMS for scientific, engineering and technical support to achieve NSWC PHD's Quality objectives and goals for all aspects of Naval Surface Warfare to ensure that the systems fielded today perform consistently and reliably in the future
  • Assist with the development of policy, plans, and procedures to implement and maintain the Command's overall QMS and assist all Departments and Codes in developing and implementing their individual QMS in accordance with Navy policies, procedures and directives for all related systems and equipment
  • Review results of process improvements during routine audits to evaluate compliance with standards and regulations (i.e. ISO 9001:2015) and keep managers abreast of these requirements and changes

The "Need-to-Have" Skills & Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Navy Quality standards and regulations.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Familiarity with industry-specific compliance and regulatory requirements

Associates Degree in Business or related field

Clearance:

Must be a US Citizen with an Active Secret security clearanceorability to obtain a Secret Clearance

The projected compensation range for this position is $65,000 to $67,000 (Annually USD). The estimated compensation represents the standard salary range for a position of this kind, reflecting just one factor of the comprehensive compensation structure and benefits package offered to Tria employees.
