This position is for a Lab Assistant in Dr. Yi Yang's neurology lab assisting with research focused on stroke and dementia. Under close supervision, this position will perform basic scientific experiments, including tissue sectioning, immunohistochemistry staining, Western blot, fluorescent microscopy, solution preparation, and data analysis. The research requires comfort with small animal handling, surgery, injections, and behavioral studies. Science majors and premedical students with work-study awards are encouraged to apply. No prior experience is necessary.
