Senior Process Engineer, VP

The Business Architecture Group (BA) acts as a catalyst across businesses and functions driving simplification and risk reduction through measurable process improvements led by Businesses and Functions, resulting in an improved client experience and enabling the transformation of Citi into a simpler, customer-centric organization. BA is responsible for partnering with business lines and functions to establish the framework for and execute the Citi Enterprise Architecture Methodology (CEAM), which includes developing enterprise-wide domain taxonomies, publishing standard playbooks and procedures, and creating process & design engineering models (process modeling and business architecture). The Process Integrations Team brings together all the tools and capabilities of BA to partner with businesses and functions across the enterprise to support in building a simpler and more efficient bank. The team also provides the businesses and functions with ongoing engagement, governance, program oversight, and metrics via process intelligence in identifying opportunities for business simplifications and to drive continuous improvements.

The Vice-President - Business Process Re-Engineering Market and Risk Integration specialist will partner with leaders in the Markets and Risk organization to execute CEAM initiatives and drive expedited fact-finding and identify opportunities for business simplification aiding in risk and expense reduction. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting projects, process improvement and change management. Excellent communication skills required both written and verbal, coupled with diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence and convince others.

Responsibilities:

  • Support executing process improvement reengineering vision/strategy.
  • Utilizing process intelligence, drive execution to increase operational efficiency, reduces process variation, and consequently gaps in customer experience; increase growth & innovation.
  • Support the planning portfolio of meaningful initiatives across businesses, in collaboration with reengineering partners, and corporate support if/when applicable.
  • Interface with different lines of businesses and BA partners.
  • Responsible for supporting dynamics of cross functional & business wide process improvement reengineering initiatives.
  • Integrate reengineering approach and methodology, as an enabler to the successful execution of the organization's business strategy.
  • Promote a continuous improvement mindset within and across all lines of business and corporate.
  • Provides ongoing communication & reporting on the progress of reengineering initiatives to various stakeholders.
  • Performs other ad-hoc duties and functions as assigned.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years experience in a related role with extensive experience in related business or functional role.
  • Experience in process design and process improvement is a preferred. Banking, Markets, Compliance, Risk or Finance background preferred.
  • Experience in value stream mapping, root cause analysis, change management and project management.
  • Broad and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of banking operations.
  • Experience in development of materials for senior audiences and stakeholders.
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of banking operations.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Ability to rationalize and work through organizational change.
  • High potential employee with focus on delivery.
  • Experience in a Big Four management consulting firm within the banking industry sector preferable.
  • Lean/Six Sigma Master Black Belt Certification preferable.

Education:

  • Bachelors/University degree, Masters degree preferred

    $103,920.00 - $155,880.00
