The WisTech Open Librarian supports the creation efforts of open educational resources (OER) across the Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS). This role is the lead librarian for WTCS open educational resources efforts. Functions include training faculty and other stakeholders on the value of OER, curating resources, and reviewing copyright/licensing requirements for faculty-led creation projects. Advanced knowledge of and skills with technology including software programs for communication, data collection, and decision making including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel.
