Job Description

90% FTE, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. No weekends or holidays. You will be working primarily at the Pediatric Specialty Clinic located at Deming Way in Madison, WI. You will also work at the Waisman Center located at 1500 Highland Avenue in Madison, WI approximately one 1/2 day each week. There will be occasional, as-needed coverage at the American Family Children's Hospital located at 1675 Highland Avenue in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse(RN) to:

  • Partner with your care team to perform in office procedures to enhance quality of life.
  • Become an expert in mobility devices and equipment.
  • Resource for patients and their families with disability care needs.
  • Partner with pediatric patients and their families to provide holistic and comprehensive care to kids with complex conditions.
  • Contribute to a highly collaborative team and learning environment, where everyone's voice is valued, staff wellbeing is a priority, and critical thinking and questions are encouraged
  • Bring your experience in caring for pediatric patients and be a part of utilizing evidenced based research and education in a setting that collaborates with a variety of multi-disciplinary teams

Education:

Minimum - Graduate of school of nursing.

Preferred - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Work Experience:

Minimum - Six (6) months of RN experience.

Preferred - Relevant RN experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact and CPR/BLS Certification.

Preferred - Applicable clinical certification.
