HOW YOU WILL DO IT

As a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Designer, you will design and develop electronic hardware for products across a wide range of industries. This role collaborates with talented hardware, software, mechanical, product & quality, manufacturing and test engineers throughout all phases of the product development life cycle - from idea-conceptualization; through requirements, design, and development; to manufacturing transition and into the market.

Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Develops design/product concepts that are high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy the customer's requirements.
  • Has awareness on Plexus product realization process which includes - Conceptualize, Design, Commercialize, Manufacture, Fulfill, and Sustain.
  • Demonstrates a clear, discipline-specific understanding of the design process.
  • Utilizes appropriate tools and equipment to perform necessary engineering work including design creation, design analysis, and design verification.
  • Produces comprehensive project documentation based on the needs of the project and in accordance with the quality and change management procedures and guidelines.

Details of Accountabilities:

  • PCB design of complex multilayer, high-speed digital, RF and analog boards with knowledge of board fabrication, assembly and test.
  • You will be part of the PCB design team to perform physical layout, schematic edits and fabrication drawing creation.
  • Prepare assembly drawings, assembly arrays, data packages, and verify BOMs.
  • Ability to work effectively with customers, Design Engineers, PCB fabrication personnel, Plexus manufacturing and test Engineering personnel to ensure a producible product.

Education & Experience:

  • A minimum of an Associate's degree is required; a Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred.
  • Preferably a minimum of 1 year experience in PCB design or fresh graduate with strong interest in PCB Design is encouraged to apply.

An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
