SCOPE OF LEADERSHIP ROLE

The Senior Director of Commercial Transformation is responsible for strategic planning and oversight of our transformation programs that drive both short and long term strategic objectives. They will lead and drive Policy Deployment, Annual Improvement Plans (AIP) and Transformational / CI Roadmaps for the IPS Commercial organization as a whole. As a member of the Commercial Leadership Team, this role will impact results and culture by establishing standards, institutionalizing management systems, and providing tools & methodology to effectively drive transformation and change across the organization. This role demands a leader capable of integrating the Regal Rexnord Business System (RBS) principles to drive operational excellence and competitive differentiation in the marketplace. The Senior Director, Commercial Transformation will lead cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the organization in achieving growth and financial objectives through effectively leading breakthrough & transformational initiatives.
  • Identify, develop, and lead breakthrough initiatives throughout the IPS Commercial organization, creating the vision for change and setting ambitious goals and milestones for transformative impact. Garner followership across the organization to progress initiatives to achieve the future state
  • Lead and drive Policy Deployment (L0 and L1 programs for IPS Commercial organization), Annual Improvement Plans (AIP) and Transformational / CI Roadmaps for the IPS Commercial organization. Decomposes a strategic vision into actionable strategies and plans.
  • Ability to lead and coach multiple projects simultaneously through both a hands-on and influential approach
  • Champion the integration of Regal Business System (RBS) principles across commercial transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with operational excellence, lean management, and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate closely with other departments (Customer Care, Commercial Excellence, Marketing, Sales, Digital Solutions, Operations) to ensure a cohesive approach in driving strategic initiatives and projects
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation, encouraging the team to think creatively and explore new solutions for complex challenges
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of transformation initiatives, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement
  • Implement regular review mechanisms to assess the impact of initiatives on customer satisfaction and business outcomes, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Inform Digital Solutions team's roadmap around needed capabilities, and drive implementation and adoption of digital tools along with other programs that are cross functional.

CURRENT TRANSFORMATION PRIORITIES

  • Lead the IPS Commercial integration rollout of DTA strategies to streamline the customer journey, ensuring a seamless, efficient, and personalized experience from online engagement to offline service delivery
  • Collaborate with Digital Solutions and operations to enhance DTA capabilities, including CRM systems and digital platforms
  • Lead IPS Commercial execution & implementation of RRX e-commerce strategies to improve customer access, convenience, and online service offerings
  • Inform the optimization of online platforms for enhanced user experience, integrating cutting-edge technologies and analytics to facilitate easy and secure transactions
  • Develop and implement advanced customer segmentation strategies to tailor services and interactions to diverse customer needs, enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Design and roll out differentiated services that provide competitive advantage and address the specific needs of segmented customer groups
  • Leverage RBS to drive efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance service delivery, setting benchmarks for operational best practice

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Advanced degree preferred (MBA, MS Engineering)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience leading transformational or CI initiatives, ideally within a Commercial organization. At least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing large-scale transformational projects and breakthrough initiatives by effectively demonstrating stellar collaboration and influencing skills
  • Strong Commercial acumen and understanding of e-commerce, organizational integration, and customer segmentation strategies
  • Experience with implementing business systems like the Regal Rexnord Business System (RBS) or similar lean management principles
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and drive change across the organization.
  • Critical thinking skills to properly identify problem area & potential solutions. Prior knowledge and application of 80/20 principles strongly desirable
  • Proven experience leveraging multiple sets of input to set a strategic vision; translating the vision into development of key objectives, implementation plans & actions, and key measures / KPIs of what success looks like. Policy Deployment and strategic planning experience
  • Strong financial acumen, prior experience managing a P&L desired
  • Analytical skills to properly interpret data and develop strategic insights
  • Leadership skills to influence cross functional teams for a transformational journey
