The Position:

The Learning & Development Administrator manages activities related to Walbec Group's employee development and employee engagement initiatives and programs. This role will work closely with the Learning and Development Manager to execute on the logistics, administrative duties, coordination and delivery of training programs, engagement initiatives and internal/external communication strategies. This position will be responsible for managing logistics and leading on-site training events, supporting the development of internal training programs, administering internal developmental programs, and participate in the evaluation and improvement for training courses.

This position will also assess and refresh current learning material and content to meet the needs of the business and regulatory requirements. This position will maintain LMS data and track employee training requirements throughout the year.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Manage the logistics, execution and tracking of all training classes and company employee engagement events
  • Maintain the company's LMS to ensure data accuracy, reporting and auditing responsibilities are managed timely
  • Administer training and track compliance requirements via the LMS for all employee groups
  • Execute on the logistics to plan, execute and deliver the all-employee annual meeting (Compass)
  • Track all required and voluntary employee certifications
  • Provide responses to annual HR audit on training initiatives and activities
  • Support employee communications regarding training, employee development and employee engagement activities
  • Maintain the training page on the company's SharePoint site
  • Collect feedback and update all training materials

The Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
  • One or more years training or HR experience
  • Intermediate fluency of MS Office programs such as Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong graphic design ability
  • Curriculum design and development experience (preferred)
  • Talent development experience (preferred)
  • Experience working within an LMS (preferred)
