SPA's Sea Land Air (SLA) Division supports a diverse portfolio of national security government clients, including the Undersea Enterprise, the Navy Surface Community, the Navy MPTE Enterprise, the Air Force, Army, DoD Agencies, DARPA, international clients including the Canadian Navy and Australian Defence Force. Our primary objective is to provide timely, objective and analytic assessments that integrate the policy, operational, technical, programmatic and acquisition aspects of our clients' challenges.
The Naval Surface Analysis Group (NSWAG), within SLA Division, focuses primarily on providing analytic and program support to the Surface Warfare component of the United States Navy, enabling enhanced decision-making regarding the allocation of resources to improve operational capabilities. This support includes personnel, manpower, and training support to OPNAV N1.
SPA has a near term need for a Program Analyst (Analytic Studies), who will support United States Fleet Forces Command (USFFC) Distributed Maritime Operations (DMO) advancement, implementation, operation and execution.
Serve as the USFFC N8/N9 POC for Navy Analytic Studies Program (NASP), Analytic Master Plan, and related processes that support operationalization DMO capabilities. Support development of analytics for FBP and LSE (series) by leveraging studies data. Provide analytical and technical support for development and submission of Fleet-generated studies proposals, informing projected operational impact and cost/benefit analysis. Represent Fleet equities in NASP execution, tracking Fleet-generated proposals, informing prioritization decisions, and keeping USFFC N8/N9 leadership informed of issues related to Fleet proposals.Coordinate with study authors / sponsors and with potential performers for Fleet-generated study proposals. Facilitate study sponsor/study team collaboration to ensure Fleet study objectives are met. Support USFFC N80 POM development efforts as appropriate. Prepare products for review and approval up to the Flag Officer/Senior Executive Service level. Prepare briefs, staffing packages and provide information to update CTS items related to the advancement of DMO. Attend various NASP meetings in support of advancing DMO.
