Job Summary: Cloud Engineer
Location: Milwaukee, WI / Remote

We're looking for an experienced cloud engineer to design, develop, and deploy the very foundation of our platform using the latest advancements in cloud technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and refining of software solutions that address critical business challenges and set new industry standards.
  • Drive the transformation of legacy products into robust AWS-native systems, championing innovation and efficiency.
  • Serve as the go-to AWS expert, providing guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Relentlessly focus on product quality, ensuring that each line of code contributes to an exceptional user experience.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive suite of unit and integration tests to uphold software integrity.
  • Take ownership of project priorities, meeting deadlines and deliverables with accountability.
  • Collaborate effectively within the team to achieve sprint goals, leveraging individual expertise and collective effort.
  • Enforce code quality standards through rigorous code reviews, fostering a culture of excellence and continual improvement.
  • Oversee code deployments, guaranteeing the reliability and precision of our innovations as they reach the market.
Must-Have Experience:
  • 10+ years of relevant experience doing full-stack software engineering work (.NET C#, SQL, JavaScript)
  • Must have in-depth AWS experience, including development.
  • In-depth experience working with Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS).
  • Solid understanding of DevOps principles
  • Experience creating pipelines, writing terraform, additional source code, and container orchestration.
  • Understanding of Agile practices (e.g. Scrum)and SDLC.
  • Excellent technical design, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Proficiency in domain-driven design, microservice architecture, and event-driven architecture.
  • Expert-level knowledge in building high-quality systems with AWS best practices.
  • Excellent collaborative skills, work well independently and as a team member.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret and implement business and functional requirements.
  • Understand the importance of test automation and integrate it into the development practice.

The salary range is $145k-$170k, depending on experience and skill level. Compensation outside of this range can be considered for qualified candidates.
