Your Team, Your Impact

As a test development principal engineer in the Operations business group, you will test features on the silicon semiconductor chips Marvell produces for internal and external customers. You will make sure we don't ship out any underperforming units. You'll work closely with design to make sure their chip features are testable and that the results meet the customer's specifications. You may even have to write new code or develop new testing strategies when our chips outpace the capabilities of current testing equipment.

What You Can Expect

  • Marvell seeks a senior level test development engineer to design, develop and implement ATE solutions for ASICs and high speed optical interconnect devices
  • The individual will be responsible for defining test plans, designing test hardware and implementing test programs for production and characterization.
  • This position requires working closely with product engineering and cross functional teams to own and execute on all test engineering activities related to the NPI plan including new silicon bring-up, release of sampling test programs, release of qualification and characterization test programs, release of production test program.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of related experience and be a technically curious self-starter who is excited to think outside the box to work on new technologies and novel solutions. Specific technical skills or experience required for this position are:

  • Solid understanding of scan and MBIST DFT test methodologies.
  • Design of complex and high-performance ATE hardware.
  • Testing of high-speed interfaces (NRZ/PAM4)
  • Solid understanding of mixed signal ATE principles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Advantest 93K or Uflex ATE platforms.
  • BS EE.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

120,950 - 181,200, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
