JOB PURPOSE:
The Program Director for the Eagle Lake Children's Center is responsible for the efficient operation of all residential services provided to Unaccompanied Minor Children (UC) in care. The Program Director will oversee the facility's day-to-day program management, ensuring program, state, and federal compliance, as well as fostering collaborative relationships with Federal and Local Stakeholders. The program director will supervise key program staff, including the Assistant Program Director, Clinical Supervisor, Lead Case Manager, PSA Compliance Manager, Education Coordinator, and other positions. The ideal candidate is a child welfare expert with proven leadership experience managing residential child (adolescent) care services.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in social work or an equivalent degree in education, psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science; Plus five years of experience as a supervisor of a licensed residential youth program, or similar program for minors; or five years of progressive project management experience on projects demonstrating advanced level of financial and managerial responsibilities.
LICENSES: Driver's License with clear record required.
VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice. Valid driver's license, access to an automobile, insurance, and willingness to drive to off-site locations, highly preferred.
OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations (30-40%) and with such frequency as the business need dictates. Must be available and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required to meet business needs. Willingness to work other duties as required. Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of himself/herself or others.
