Position at Zones LLC.

Position Details:

Term: 6 months - start date in May. Likely to extend and there is potential to convert to FTE.
Schedule: Mon-Friday 8-5pm ET - 40 hours per week.
Should have flex to work earlier/later if needed
Location: 100% onsite - Columbus Ohio.
Rate: up to $25/hr commensurate with experience.

*Light local travel may be incurred to some of the other facilities in the Columbus area. Any travel outside a 30 mile radius to Columbus can be reimbursed for mileage.
*Candidates will need to undergo a 10-panel drug screen and provide vax/immunization documentation as well as undergo a TB test.
Position Overview
Our client in Patient Care is urgently seeking a qualified Hardware Technician. The ideal candidate will be A+ Certified or possess equivalent experience in desktop support.
What you'll do as the Hardware Deployment Technician
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

1. Device Setup and Management:

  • Work with Windows-based desktops/laptops that come with a base image loaded.
  • Conduct an inventory of software/applications installed on each machine.
  • Review and document existing printer mappings.
2. Device Replacement and Peripheral Connection:
  • Replace old computer devices with new ones.
  • Connect peripherals such as document scanners, webcams, and signature pads. (Customer will provide documentation for verification of peripherals).

3. Software and Printer Installation:

  • Ensure the new machine is connected to the network.
  • Use SCCM to load any required applications (with customer-provided documentation for installation and configuration).
  • Map printers on the new machine.
4. Issue Resolution and Escalation:
  • Promptly escalate any issues to the onsite lead technician.
5. Asset Management:
  • Return the old devices to the asset cage.
  • Coordinate with a lead technician at each location.
High-Level Checklist:
  • Confirm and install software.
  • Confirm and install printers.
  • Install peripherals (if any).
  • Ensure computer labels are printed and applied.
  • Complete LWS swaps.
  • Fill out the deployment form.
  • Update Imprivata Policy.
  • Return the old device to the asset cage and close the task.
What you'll bring to the table:
  • Familiarity with SCCM and Windows-based systems for deployment
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with Windows based systems for deployment.
  • Ability to learn systems and technologies.
