Pitt-Bradford is hiring two new Admissions Counselors to support our student-recruitment team in the Office of Admissions. This is an entry-level, full-time position where you'll work under the leadership of the Director of Admissions and Associate VP of Enrollment Management. The ideal applicant will have an understanding of and dedication to the mission of higher education!
Salary: $35,000/year
Duties: As an Admissions Counselor, you will:
Requirements: A bachelor's degree, ideally in communication, marketing, management, or HR. One to two years of relevant experience. New graduates may be able to use extensive extra-curricular or on-campus activities as a substitute for working experience. A willingness to travel is required. Advanced digital literacy in word processing, site management, and database management will be helpful. An energetic and confident team-player will excel in this role!

Prepares, processes, maintains, and provides information regarding student admissions records and/or reports. Participates in recruitment activities and projects.
Individual, small-group and large-group presentations; writing tasks, including, but not limited to, correspondence and reports; ability to drive; extensive travel. Ability to create - design and execute marketing communications through the University CRM system. Social and interpersonal contact with internal and external shareholders, such as between prospective students and families, academic departments, and coworkers.
Must be able to carry quantities of Admission publications and other materials to a variety of urban and suburban sites, and set up displays. The position is dynamic and mobile. Driving for extended periods of time (up to 6 hours), lifting recruitment materials (up to 50 lbs), climbing stairs, standing for 2-4 hours and some walking.
