Split Shift: Monday - Thursday 12:30 PM -11:00 PM (Includes 10% Shift Premium).

Second Shift: Monday - Thursday 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM (Includes 10% Shift Premium).

Third Shift: Sunday - Thursday 10:00PM - 6:00 AM (Includes 10% Shift Premium).

JOB SUMMARY:

Operates CNC Milling Centers to machine metallic parts. At direction of Production Supervisor, may make simple setups on CNC Milling equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works from simple sketches and routings.

• Performs simple, repetitive, and progressive machining operations on CNC Milling Centers.

• Maintains close and exacting tolerances and finish specifications.

• Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications through the use of various inspection measuring equipment, including micrometers and veniers. Utilizes SPC charts to report variations in processes.

• In coordination with the Maintenance Department, performs preventive maintenance on CNC Milling equipment.

• Proceeds under direct supervision.

• Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of and conformity with Ace Precision Quality System work instruction requirements that govern CNC Milling operations.

• Maintains or exceeds production standards through efficient organization and planning.

• Follows and complies with safety policies and procedures.

• Accurately completes all required documentation.

• Meets attendance policy requirements.

• Contributes to team effort by assisting in areas as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), with minimum of three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read English and understand sketches, routings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively with employees and other Company stakeholders.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Requires ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide decimals and fractions.

REASONING ABILITY:

Requires the use of some judgment to comply with instructions, follow prescribed methods and make minor decisions as to setups, operations, and processes.
