CREATIVITY IS OUR SUPERPOWER.It's our heritage and it's also our future. Because we don't just make toys. We create innovative products and experiences that inspire fans, entertain audiences and develop children through play. Mattel is at its best when every member of our team feels respected, included, and heard-when everyone can show up as themselves and do their best work every day. We value and share an infinite range of ideas and voices that evolve and broaden our perspectives with a reach that extends into all our brands, partners, and suppliers.
The Team:
We are an order fulfillment center for three unique customer channels. The largest business channel is Direct to Consumer and highly seasonal in nature with a large ramp up in capacity in the 4th quarter. In addition, we offer consumer services such as returns processing and an onsite doll care center, as well as value add services such as gift wrapping. The Distribution Center is part of the Mattel North American network of DC's and as such we work as a team to warehouse and transport inventory to balance capacity across the network and support partner Mattel business units.
The Opportunity:
The EHS specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing environmental health and safety programs in a warehousing and distribution center environment. Their goal is to make sure these programs are effective and compliant with all relevant regulations. Their work impacts a local team that flexes between 100-400 associates annually and complements and supports Mattel's efforts to be a leader in safety across its global supply chain.
