Work Schedule:

100% FTE, evening/night shift. 40 hours per week working Sunday - Saturday, 5:15PM - 6:30AM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to:

  • Maintain heating and air conditioning equipment, emergency power systems, medical gas distribution and supply systems, food service equipment, and hospital life support systems for direct and indirect patient use.
  • Perform diagnosis and repair equipment in emergency situations, monitor and make adjustments to the building(s) environment and lighting using a computerized building automation system and monitor and make adjustments to computerized, intelligent fire alarm systems.

Education:
Minimum - High School Diploma or GED
Preferred - Two (2) year technical diploma in HVAC, industrial, trades or related field

Work Experience:
Minimum - Two (2) years of maintenance experience or formal training,
Preferred - Two (2) years of maintenance experience or formal training, in a healthcare setting.

Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum - Valid driver's license in the person's state of residence

* Must be 21 years of age or have three (3) years of driving experience to operate a Patient/Visitor Vehicle or UW Health Vehicle other than a golf cart or utility terrain vehicle
