Job Description:

Operates and tends blending machines that mix and blend food ingredients to produce seasonings/flavor systems. Observes mixing to ensure thorough blending and that blends adhere to safety, quality protocols and customer requirements.
The following are basic requirements for all Blending positions: · Ability to read and write instructions in English · Demonstrated 1 year of manufacturing experience - preferred  · Ability to pass strength test with a score of 200 or higher · Requires repetitive lifting of up to 50lbs, up to 100lbs in a team lift and rolling drums up to 250lbs occasionally · Stacking of bags 5 feet high weighing up to 50 lbs. each · Position is exposed to hazards of an industrial environment including noise, dust, hazardous materials, machinery, including platforms and ladders, and lift equipment · Exposure to all allergens on an occasionally basis
  • Very physical – lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted, (100 lb. bags are lifted by 2 individuals as a team), repetitive- very fast paced.
  • Prior forklift experience is desired, however they will train
  • Bar coding experience is a plus
  • Must be very thorough with weights and measurements, good math skills needed
  • Basic knowledge of consumer goods or food products packaging
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, & understand English

works a straight 8; temps get a ½ hour paid lunch break, ($3.00/day lunch is offered in their cafeteria) Overtime is possible on Saturdays
