We are recruiting for a Research Program Coordinator II to support the Multicultural, Diversity, and Latinx Health Equity Research Program, directed by Dr. Lisa Sanchez-Johnsen. A little bit about Dr. Lisa Sanchez-Johnsen's work: The Multicultural, Diversity, and Latinx Health Research Team focuses on addressing culture-based obesity (diet, physical activity, and body image) and tobacco interventions and assessments for diverse ethnic groups using community-engaged approaches; disparities in weight loss after bariatric surgery across ethnic groups; and cancer and diabetes risk reduction across ethnic groups. These efforts are highly community-engaged, participatory, and culture-centered. The current project is an NIH-funded study focused on healthy eating and physical activity in Puerto Rican men. Additional opportunities to work on Latino, Asian, and Multicultural Health Research students are also possible.

Position Requirements:
Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis Minimum Required Education: Bachelor Degree Minimum Required Experience: 3 years Preferred Education: Bachelor Degree in a social science Preferred Experience: 3 years working in research coordination or a social-behavioral research environment; written and spoken fluency in Spanish.
