The Document Control & Records Management Specialist administers the Northern New Mexico Integrated Security (N2MIS) procedures, written documents, forms and records management processes. The Specialist compiles and reviews changes to the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) directives, federal, state and local laws and regulations to assist in the determination of applicability to company operations. The Document Control & Records Management Specialist facilitates and assists in the maintenance of, and revision to, company policies, procedures, orders and forms. The Specialist establishes the methods for identification and appraisal of Department of Energy (DOE) administrative and N2MIS programmatic records. Additionally, the Document Control & Records Management Specialist records inventory, storage and disposition activities. Work is executed in accordance with Integrated Safety Management (ISM) and Integrated Safeguards and Security Management (ISSM) functions and principles.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Sedentary work involving extended periods of sitting while engaged with a computer terminal or phone. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday. Must have the visual ability to perform computer activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; determining the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of work. Light to moderate lifting up to twenty pounds may be required.
